I tried with 2 NST 6 and 9kv without success.It might be also because these 2 NST I have are very sensitive having internal protection and turns off if the spark gap is not properly adjusted.
I had better results using an old high voltage transformer from a monitor.

My first post here on this forum and thread..........and i was wondering, what if i would use a car ignition coil and pulse the 12v on its input......pulse them to 30kHz and then drive the kapanadze system with this setup.  what would happen first of all, with my ignition coil? will it get hot? or not? can this setup be used ? It appears that JLN is using the same type of MOT that I have. I have also been studying his first movie and I have good reason to believe that he is also using a HV microwave capacitor and diodes which can't be seen in the big blue box as his movie camera does not go high enough over the box. I have also studied the wires connected to the MOT is his blue box and believe he is using the same following circuit connections for the cap and diodes. This then feeds his spark gap and the coil. The giveaway is how it can be seen that he has two blue wires connected to the core grounded side of the secondary HV winding which is at the top of the MOT. One end of the connection to the microwave oven diode is also visible as these diodes come factory made with a spade connector on them.

I'm very sceptical with FE-Devices, which need a ground and are driven by the mains. I hope you are aware of the fact that in some cases you take adavantage of asymmetric earth connections on the windings of the localtransformer-station in your neigbourhood. So in this case you are stealing energy from the energy-company.

The Kapandze device is started with a simple 9v battery at which point it becomes self-sustaining as such after it is started there is no input persay. There is only one or two ground points which can be seen as a very large reservoir of charges.
On the issue of stealing power, lol, I would love to get any power company into a court room to defend myself. I would ask questions like--- Did you create this energy I am accused of stealing? No, you cannot create nor destroy energy so the power company is simply pumping energy which already exists. Also the rule of law states proof must be offered that something was in fact stolen, if the power company is pumping energy then they must prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is in fact their specific energy which was in fact stolen. With the Kapandze device they would have to prove it was in fact their energy in the ground and not some other source, which raises the question--- what is their energy doing in my ground which is my private property?. If they can prove it is their energy in my ground then I have a legal right to have them remove it from my property regardless of the cost or any other considerations. We could also offer an analogy, If my neighbor is pumping water and some of his water crosses over onto my property am I stealing his water? No of course not that is silly, if anything I have the legal right to have my neighbor stop polluting my personal property with his water but the water which has entered my property of it's own accord is by no means stolen. Another analogy is atmospheric CO2, if I have an apparatus to condense CO2 from the air into a hydrocarbon fuel then do all the owners of every vehicle have the right to sue me for stealing the exhaust from their vehicles? The very notion is absurd and would not last ten seconds in any court of law.
We should remember that all power companies are nothing more than service providers not unlike the company that provides us with water or sewage disposal  or any service. We are not legally bound in any way to buy their services and if their services effect us or our property in ways we find objectionable then we have a legal right sue for damages or have them stop all services rendered.

@Allcanadian: An elaborate interesting point. If you would win in court on that basis, you could also consider suing mobile telephone companies with "What are your microwaves doing in my appartment? I don´t want them." I guess they would find "good" arguments too with their 2000 dollar suit lawyers.

The easiest proof that you can´t couple into "their" energy is if you run the whole thing at a total odd frequency to the mains and then later use an inverter to convert it for your applications.

Mid to late 80's i was contracted to designed a stray voltage detector for an electronics manufacturing firm.

These were made for a dairy equipment manufacturer.

Later i was used as a consultant for both a power utility and the diary equipment manufacturer.

Had to talk to attorneys.

NOT ONCE DID THE POWER COMPANY EVER EVER SUGGEST THAT THEY SHOULD COLLECT FEES FOR STRAY VOLTAGE.
