I have make experiment with sr193 type device and only get an inverter effect (because the ferromagnet core) output without resonance.An interesting effect happen when a stepdown transformer 220v to 12v connected to  the L3.The 220v light bulb became brighter (maybe that was a "kick"?).
Anyway,now i will play with this "resonance".Bad news is now i don't have the air core iron Variabel Capasitor.Well maybe my dad's old electronic technician friends still have one,hopely  ::) .

i'm not a technician,only electronic hobiest.  :) .i'll post  when have a result.

I agree with you,translation for any video related kapa devices/similar in principle is very needed.Language barrier is problems, english lang is not my native.

C'mon, he used ordinary Russian language at that part of video, not Georgian, which is much much difficult  ;D  He says about having electronic break device which burned and was replaced by spark gap the he explained about  coils in device : primary coil end secondary coil  placed as Tesla mentioned - this is independent coil  but in the magnetic field of primary.
Yes, he almost exaplained it all and he was disrupted by a guy in jacket stupid questions about battery connection. If not so he would say much more I think....  >:(  Anyway it works like Tesla coil on BEMF, that should be clear enough, right !? The only real problme is to sustain resonance but it's not really a problem, or we would have no single radio transmitter, right ?  :P

If you know Russian language you realize that this guy by his questions supressed our understanding of the nature of effect and delayed it many years ! Especially his second question exactly when tariel would said why nobody so far didn't replicate Tesla scheme
