Indeed.

However, the circuit I am most interested in is the step charging
circuit--the Bunk circuit that can charge to any voltage, even enough
to ionize distilled liquid water.  I now grasp what it does and partially
how it does.  Where I want to go is to be able to do this on my own
workbench.  Everything beyond that point is trivial.
