I will build mine today and see where it takes me, with a MOT at first for measurements ,then ill use lower current high voltage generators like TFT screen,tube drivers got a few around from scrap screens  . .make me think alot of Stanley meyer circuit instead of a load use a cell for h2 generator , but im past that for now ,

Ps use a step down transformer from 3000v to 3v or 6v and you get "gajigawatts" of amps.
JLN's output 2100w/6v = 350 amps  it will surely blow your electroliser into pieses. if it doesnt produce ample amounts of h.

With his confusion between 0.7 and 4.2 amps, we can even think that he has no time to work and experiment seriously while publishing html pages on his site.

There is a fable from Lafontaine (a "modern" French Aesop of the 17th century) narrating the story of a horse buggy having to go up a hard slope. Next i was thinking of using anealed alum tubing over a copper rod and carbon rod in a vacuum as the spark gap . seeing if it produces any output on the tube? with the plasma spark.
