I wonder why there was so much extra "air" space in the gray motor and why everything was sealed up with silicone so well?

Where you see ignitrons?
These are regular Russian (Soviet) high power rectifier diodes or thyristors from eighty´s, often used in DC welding machines,
from range they looks very same, diodes or thyristors, up till today you can buy for cheap from any flea market everywhere in Russia.

I also first thought they were ignitrons but then realized those were standard straight heat sinks and the center component should be a diode. But who knows for sure. They could have removed the diodes and put in spark plugs. Who knows. Again, these are videos that are done to attract some form of business and we all know how those deals go and there is no point trying to reverse engineer it, that's for sure. At the least, it's good to see some are getting headway (if not tricked) but all these guys that are making big plans to make businesses with OU should realize one major thing. As soon as an open sourcer figures it out and puts it as open source, the game is over for all these secretive efforts to hold the world at bay, like a form of ransom, for super riches, etc.

In any case, guys should also be prepared for the fact that once any device is made known, either patented or open source, that within the first three months it will be rendered obsolete. All of us are only here to find the first seed. Trying to do this for your ego trip will not give you what you need. Trying to do this for money will not give you what you need because we know already where that is headed. Also, investors ready to put in millions and millions on the first one across the finish line is pretty stupid because all your investment will be rendered obsolete so fast, you won't know what hit you.

Think of it like this. Making an OU device is like making a small drop of iodine. The world in which this iodine has to live is like water. So what you are trying to do with your drop of iodine is put it in the water and have it still remain in one small area. The small area is your control from patents, from contracts, but then from having to shut up for the rest of your life. That is how is works. Instead, if you release this iodine in the water (to the world), it will be all over the word in an instant and from thereon, no one can take this away from you. You just need some faith that this is the right thing to do.

I am still stunned from that web site. It seems that it is more then true that we don't damn know who is around AND WHAT THEIR REAL INTENTIONS ARE. I am so perplexed at all this grandiose efforts to just put so much crap in these threads. When I think of the past on this web site, yes, one can say that when threads were going in a certain direction of thought and effort that there is almost always someone that comes on and creates so much crap that lasts for a few pages until the original thought process has been neutralized. FUCK. So much time went by and I did not see it for what it was. I just concentrated on the effort trying to keep my head in line with what I was planning to do next, but it gets very hard with so much noise that pops out of the boondocks.

The biggest advance to making an atom bomb was figuring out it was possible. Open source would mean anybody could take advantage of it. Ever heard of something called a free market where people compete on a level field?
