He is eluding to the ends of the 6 turn coil saying that they are crimped to hold gas. Not so.

I have a few questions concerning the picure you posted (post #5998) which make no sense.
1)We can see the shadow below the coil as a whole as well as a reflection on the blue end of the coil which suggests two light sources, one above and one forward at 45 Degrees ---- why is there only one shadow from the end of the coil in question?
2)Why is every part of the coil blurred except where the suppossed shadow appears at which point it becomes more defined? How can the shadow have more definition than the coil turn from which the shadow is cast?
3)Considering the light sources, why is there a spur off the end of a supposed shadow? A shadow cannot have this kind of definition from any light source.
4)The upper light source must cast a shdow downward, where is the downward shadow from the very end of the coil in question?.
5)Where is the shadows from the other coil turns?

Considering these facts (and years of photoshop experience) I think there is a 100% chance this photo has been altered, that is there is no way in hell the shadow from this coil end is real in my opinion.

  I think your overdue for a little R&R. If you recall about, 45 pages ago, QII started with the 'gas' theory. He already posted pictures of Meyer builds. From there he dismissed his own gas theory and jumped on LtBolo's theory calling it revolutionary. A few days later a 'Pink Elephant' entered the room and he boldly stated 'Its just like a Tesla patent'. When called on the Tesla patent he changed his tune to 'Compression'.  Now he is back to square one a 'Gas' model. Apparently he is unaware that myself and others have spoken about the 'wire' in the tube and possibly ionizing the the inside of the tube.

  Regardless, the proverbial stone has been 'unturned' a million times. Raiding the Home Depot isle of low grade imported 'Chinese' type L copper tubing and 40%, by volume, brass fittings does not constitute a beautiful build. At best it's un-American and shameful.
