Ive been wondering what is the connection between the caducius and bifi, as it seems they are replacing the cad with bifi in the second version.

I can see that with the cad coil earlier shown, its like 1 sort coil wound CW and the other CCW and they are connected at 1 end, as can be done with a bifi.
The difference is, the bifi are wound in the same direction, either CW or CCW.

The cad coil looks as if it has no self induction between opposing winds as the fields ar 90 deg from one side to the other. And no proximity between any turns other than crossings(90 deg).

Ive been seein a lot of coils that are wound CW on 1 half of the core(air, other) and CCW on the other half and connected in the middle.

Its an interesting config. If current flows through the coils, the mag fields in the core are in the opposite direction. The other difference is, the A fields of each coil oppose. Supposedly this creates a capacitive state between the 2 coils. Luc did this on a toroid a while back that was self oscillating once started.

Maybe all these, bifi, cad, and opposing series coils have some effects in common.

When the Caduceus Coil (CC) is being pulsed with HV, it is very hard to nose around the coil because of all the danger involved and no one can put their scope probe on it and the best I have is a HV probe that shows around 12kv. That is the only real measurement I can do thus far when it is under HV. (I wil lhave to make a pick-up coil for that.) But around the outside of the outer bucking coil (BC), you can feel the field density if you bring your hand close enough and metal objects get charged as if you were driving your bike under some HV lines and touched the metal of the handle bar. This I noticed when my flyback was still functional.

So since last night I am just doing some testing with my function generator and at least this way I can scope the BC and even now play around with the frequency. I made it so the BC is free to move left and right over the inner CC. I also took a wooden stick and taped four ferrite antenna rods, and this can be inserted into the center of the CC to see how the output on the BC increases and decreases as the ferrite bundle is moved left and right.

The CC is basically a REVERSED BIFILAR COIL where one is CW and the other is CCW. I had recommended this same wind method to guys working on the Romero Wheel for their generator coils since this would produce the two polarity outputs at the same time while helping neutralize the drag field. I also recommended making the drive coils in same winds layers all paralleled but have not seen anyone try either of these.

When you look at the CC patent, you will notice that there is only one word on the drawing. "Node". This is the intersecting point of the two winds and in the @T-1000 build there are only three nodes, and over this there are two coils in bucking mode. When I put my scope on each of the three BC terminals, the center one produced the most output. This to me means the center CC node is neutral and the two outer nodes are the actual changing nodes. As if the BC is seeing a change in polarity at the node points since when the pulse enters the CC, it produces one polarity at its three nodes on one side, and follows with another polarity one the three nodes on the other side before it exits the CC. It is not exactly like that but this is an easy way to understand it. So you are creating a fast changing polarity at the nodes and the BC sees this like an alternating field, thus the BC produces output.

Now if you remember way back I did some youtube videos on pulsing coils (check youtube name wattsup1004). In these videos I showed a wide variety of pick-up coils that each had an LED and when pulsing one central coil, it would light up one or the other of the pick-up coils depending on the frequency used. Well when I place many of these coils near the CC, they all light up as if the CC is producing a full bandwidth and I think this full bandwidth is not a desirable attribute and this is why TK had to filter his signals, probably to produce an even more potent output mix. This will be hard to work on for me since my EE acumen is way to low and I have not enough experience in HV pulsing, But I realize now the wide bandwidth must be condensed to increase the output punch.

Just read @stiveps post also mentioning full bandwidth. Yep.

PS: I have not made the YC yet so I cannot really speak about it now although the build methods are different and the Yoke Coil has much more ferrite mass that is close coupled then the CC. Soon enough.

It's been a while since my last post, and it's been more than year since my last Tariel Kapanadze generator build. As I am Polish too, like Wesly I read Russian, I tend to read their (Russian) developments as they do understand more when it comes to science, and especially Elecro-dynamics so that is where I lurk.. Here enclosed is their latest version of their Kapanadze unit.. It was just posted an hour ago.. and the link.

And now a note to Wesly.. You have the heart of a very special man.. I seen all your YouTube clips and the Russian interview on Skipe.. I feel as I really know you..
