Can anyone recommend a good site to find replacement/equivalent  transistors?

@Magluvin: What transistor type did you use?

I got a couple of russian transistors but not the KT805AM.
It has an ftrans of 20 MHz and most of the other transistors i come across
only have like 1-3 MHz and a power rating of 30 Watt.

concerning your idea of the parallel stripes I would expect them to destroy themselfs if you do not have them strongly glued on a epoxy-sheet. There might show up heavy current-density

You are looking at a light bulb Immersed in one liter of water [no the metal part is not in the water]
it is running through a Killowatt meter.
Run the test until you get One Tick on the meter,... measure the time and the temp of the water  this will be your baseline


Know plug your device into the meter ,Place the bulb {properly] into the vessel
Repeat test...................
Compare Notes

im open to newer simple possiblities to overunity devices, but without delamroto or semenh showing real time measurements, we are unable to be sure , i hope you understand it dear Semenh,
if you show us scope shot, and (or) RAMSET  technique, we will see wether its worth investigating, or not.

power from mains: put 60 watt light bulb in water,            Time:                 Temperature:

Time to heat up in comparison with mains and coil device  to a certain temperature ,  say  50C       
Water should be started from the same temperature in same bowl with same bulb.
cool down bowl for each measuring to room temperature
