Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

So it appears the type of oscillator is an Armstrong oscillator.

Your wires from the transistor to the pancake coil are far too long, you need that transistor sitting on the edge of the coil other wise your losses will be very high.

I'm wondering if the bulb in Wesley's device is powered by the capacitor that is the metal foil wrapped part way around the coil.
The voltage is supplied to the capacitor is very high but the bulb limits the voltage and pushes up the current to a balanced point of  power, the power being the charge created in the capacitor for each cycle.

Hey Meggerman,

Actually this oscillator is a derivative of blobking oscillator, but can be called also Brovin Kacher oscillator (those initially used it for magnetic orientation circuit) or just Kacher. You are right about the losses from long wires, but this is an illustration rather than working model. Llong wires introduce extra inductance, outside the inductive coupling between secondary - primary, resulting in kickback to transistor and lost as "avalanche" energy.

working with Kacher, one can be made more efficient by:
- non sparking (assuming we do not want sparks) by using a capacitance e.g. topload or some HV caps between top wire and ground or emiter as 30pf 30 Kv (crucial)
- apply a variable capacitor to primary coil (crucial)
- apply a reverse diode between base and emitter (preferably schotky)
- aplly a capacitance between base and emitter (not works in every case)

I have some considerable time working with Kachers. This setup i never tried, there fore replicate ;)

Hope

I want to tell you first,  how very much it means to have your support today.

Secondly, Thank you all for your kind comments.

I will be busy with family matters awhile, but my heart is here too, with all you and I will take the Tesla pdf along to study.

I hope to hear great things when I return, like a replication or proofs.   Mostly I am like you all and want to define the concepts into working formulas.

Good Luck and keep looking at this field of endeavor from the outside and 360 degrees (encapsulate it and walk all around and get different prospectives).
