As requested, here are some shots of the device in close up.

I labeled the first one to give you some fixed locations to discuss.

Look to me like the secondary is not a continuous wind. Each wind looks like an individual loop that goes into the base.

Also, the white pipe does not seem straight. If you notice at A the pipe is grooved about 1 inch wide and the secondary there will be shorter. I would say it is a 16 awg wire and all loops are in parallel to increase amperage draw from the pulsing primary that is probably high voltage. See last photo close up.

The primary looks like two wires 14-16 awg wound only one turn each.

Hey, I could be totally off the mark here since the images are not the best and you cannot see on the other side of the coil between it and the 4 rear (capacitors or whatever) shown as F.

I'm also trying to understand this magnetic resonance on Don's device. If you look at his coil arrangement the primary is in the middle. If you think of it as an electromagnet the secondary coil is seeing both the North and South of the changing primary coil. A Bloch wall is formed in the center of the secondary. In a Tesla coil it is seeing mainly just North or South which extends through the entire coil. A Bloch wall is only formed at the end of a Tesla coil. I'm wondering if a collapsing or rotating Bloch wall in the center is what he is tapping off of. The magnetic energy around this is excited by trying to align itself to this spinning/collapsing Bloch wall as it cuts both sides of the secondary coil(?) If you check the primary it is exactly in the center of the secondary coils/2.

The Components (as marked in the previous pics):

H+I: Inverter 12 V DC to 120 V AC
G  : Small Neon transformer 120 V AC to 4kv to 6kv AC
D:  2 x 4kv capacitors ( to tune the oscillation)
F: Hi Voltage Cap-Bank (50kv  to 100 kv total)

C might be just for stability as a whole, but he is tapping the secondary in the middle for the shunt!
So he ends up with  2 coils on the secondary side which alters the discussion about the position relative to the Bloch wall

Now that is a very nice toroid you have no idea what you can do with metglass but it has NOTHING to do with your plans for OU.
