I finally looked at Reply #704 closely when a translation from the original language(Hungarian?) became available.  Is Kapanadze Hungarian as well?

Kapanadze is from Caucasus (Georgia), not Hungary.

Did anyone say what kind of voltage was being experienced by the mercury tubes?

I can make no statements about the tubes to help you , its not my device.
It sounds logical though that they would operate at the levels you described.

Okay, I see.  They are different types of tubes.  Whether or not the Hungarian tubes can be replaced with industry standard American/European units is open to experimentation.  Component values may also need to be adjusted.

I can light the screw in type also but mostly use the old style long tubes as they give off more light.  Thanks again.

Thank you.  Well after lighting those tubes and 400 leds from my EER set-up, I thought I was doing very well....until I saw the Kapanadze videos, ha ha.  I am not even close, not even in the same ballpark.  That guy is orders of magnitude ahead of me.  Hopefully, one of you guys here will figure out a replication and we can all join in.

thanks for the translation Chef   kinda reminds me of the tpu.  Plasma tornadoes and all.  Also of interest is negative resistance tubes patented along time ago.  An electric field can accelerate mass.  If the pulse is short enough electrons of lighter mass will accelerate before the 1800 more massive neucleus.  The electron is already moving at 1/6 the speed of light but has developed centripedal inertia in an orbital around the neucleius at a quantified energy level.  The electron actually cools but in so doing transfers energy to the field.  Subsequent transfer of energy to other electron orbitals causes a cascade event if the atomic lattice is dense enough to allow migration of the free electrons to influence nearby atoms.  I believe the same holds true for the casmir effect.  The cavity being such that the electron orbitals are interrupted which allows the electronic orbital inertia to convert to kinetic energy
