There is a conflicting view in all the FE forums. On the one hand almost everybody has a firm belief that OU is possible, it has been achieved in the past in various machines, yet there is not around since it has been surpressed.

On the other hand, nobody seems to believe seriously to any surpression and acts if there is not such.

Thank you for those kind words.  I also am in agreement with the rest of your post as well.  The reason I get so excited about lighting a few hundred leds for free is that, like most things, with a little engineering (OK, maybe a lot) it should be able to be scaled up.  This is what my first impression of Kapanadze's work was.

In reality, it may not be related to anything I am doing at all, except the ground.  As I have  said, I wish I understood more about what was going on with all of those coils and spark gaps, but, I still remain hopeful.
