The second cap across the 6 turn output coil must be probably in
the uF range to get the resonance down to around 50 to 400 Hz, so the MOT will
still work okay. But please don´t use electrolytic caps, but just starter caps
for motors.

Have you tried this circuit? I proposed this as simple concept about a dozen post back to loop round after correcting to 50hz by LC on the 6 turn tank. Its going to need a lot of uf maybe 150-200uf to bring Khz down to 50hz BUT before anyone tries looping must make the circuit stable and run cool.

First another MOT is required in series for i/p ballast, requires power factor correction on i/p using RUN caps. Also spark plug ballast required to reduce spark current. These are priority components to get the system running cool and stable before attempting looping.

I know some of you thinking about using a 12 volt transformer and use FWBR and drop it into a car battery but i tell you now you will have a hell of a job trying to use an inverter. These magnetic impulse waves will screw the inverter up and high risk of blowing it.

BTW if you use motor caps make sure they are RUN caps and NOT start caps. Start caps are not designed for continuous loading and will rupture. Also watch out for volts rating may have to put two in series to effect double volts rating unless you want a big bang and a terrible mess everywhere. Please be VERY careful with caps dont leave then laying around your desk without croc link to short they CAN self charge from the spark and or coil induction RF even at 20ft away. You pick up a live one you wont make the same mistake twice.

I realise im far from OU, but was very pleased all the same.  I often try and light the same 40 W filament bulbs using the secondary of my tesla coil....from secondary to load to ground, and they DO light up.....but not as brightly as they do with my Kapanadze set up - ill try three 40 W bulbs, and i'll also try and get something from a 12V battery with 30 KV power supply - i reckon the doorknob cap across output may make the necessary difference.

Perhaps ill try and do a youtube vid to make it clear what im doing, but its pretty much identical to most circuit diagrams.....

EDIT: Ill check the iron pole tonight and report back with details.....

Anyhow gents, my Kapanadze set up is very improvised - i used stuff that was available, and you can see the blu tack and selotape hanging off my coil - proves that ANYONE can at least get a lamp going with this set up.

Yes, there is something special with the ground connections with the Kapagen design, the further apart the better.  Kapanadze even added water with the dirt when he buried the radiator in his first video demonstration.

I have read that Tesla had designed a special ground system for Wardenclyffe Tower project.

I would enjoy seeing your spark gap in liquid setup when you have the time to take a photo. 

Tesla researcher Eric Dollard, in one his Tesla experiment videos used Hydrogen spark gaps:

The 1B22 is an aluminium cathode spark gap tube for radar modulator use. It was developed for the ASH (later AN/APS-4) radar, where two tubes in series switched a peak power of around 105kW into a 725A magnetron. In order to maintain operation at high altitudes even if the pressurised container failed, the peak switching voltage was kept to 4kV. The tubes could pass a current pulse of 67A for 0.75µs at either 600 or 1000 pulses per second. They could also operate for short periods at 2.25µs/330pps.

Anode/cathode spacing is 150 mils, and the gas mixture at 20" pressure is 75% hydrogen and 25% argon. Life expectancy was 500 hours at 0.75µs.

Corona points at the end of the cathode opposite the end of the anode assist firing, the firing voltage being 2.7kV. The tube also contains a small quantity of radium in this region.

What kind of farad value caps would you expect for input PF correction?  Or how would you find out?
I can't find a MOT, guess I killed them all on replicating Thanes mot/gen, guess I'm looking for a junker μwave...
