It emits 2 neutrons in transmuting from Fe56 to Fe54, and the rate at which that happened would have everything to do with whether it was safe or not. Regardless, pretty sure that once they leave, there is nothing you can do to cram those suckers back in.

Long term, it seems that the electron resonance method is the safer device...if we can figure out how to make it work. Meyer's device looked deceptively simple, but I'm sure the devil is in the details. The resonance of the excitation coil would be critical. The resonance of the central shaft may also be critical...it may also need to be resonant at a subharmonic of the electron excitation frequency. And then once you get electrons to break free, what form does the power take, and how do you get it out? It may be simple in theory, and very difficult in practice...

In such case I think a bit of ground is required and a small difference of potential . For example shaft from copper rod and  iron grounding. Meyer device also contained small 9V battery. It's a particle accelerator = current amplification. About Meyer's device I would like to know how neutrons can generate current ? By knocking electrons from metal ? Don't you think that NMR would be lethal if that is so easily possible ?

The NMR Fe56 device only starts dumping energy under very specific conditions. Even so, it wouldn't be able to run away like a conventional reaction. Other than the neutron emissions, I'd say it is very easy to control.

I don't know if the patent said this anywhere, but it is interesting to me that protons are resonant at about 42.5Mhz/T. Meaning, at the 0.5T specified in the patent, protons would be resonant at about 21.25Mhz, very close to the specified excitation of 21Mhz.

Not entirely sure how the 20keV that each transmuted atom yields ends up as electricity, but could yield some very energetic photons that could certainly stimulate current flow. I do think the patent may have addressed that though, but I haven't read it in detail.
