1) Did you managed to run flyback on resonanse when you lower input and maximize output?

2) Do capacitor(before spark gap) charge from AV plug diodes over just 1 wire then? If yes, you can attach second wire from flyback into TT secondary to use capacitance (few picofarads) between L1/L2 on TT for even greater effect.

3) Is your Tesla Transformer tuned to resonance too? In addition, variable capacitor for TT primary should be tuned to ferrite core resonance.

If all of this is done, put ferrite rod into TT and see where it starts heating up. On that point you need split it and isolate 2 pieces of ferrite rod. Then you will need to adjust distance between them for maximum TT output.

P.S> We're working on ferrite ring now and trying to minimize EM radiation to minimum so even greater output for same input... :) Also, ferrite core gets very unstable in its mechanical resonance on atomic level and breaks into pieces after 15-20 minutes of ringing. We're on way to solve that issue.
