    Faraday's laws of induction.  Faster you turn the switch on and off the higher the voltage.  The higher the voltage or electon moving force the more fun you can have moving electrons around.   A transient wave going from o to 30,000 volts in 2 nanoseconds  will give you a sine wave that will go from 0 to 220 volts for how many seconds?  Tesla routinely went from o to 10million volts in nanoseconds.  If you want to disrupt the ambient potential energy field that appears as reality you best now how to turn the switch on and off fast.
