My little HV generator is a Plasma lamp,  A La Don Smith. The demo was an inductor in series with a HV cap through a spark gap circuit. Positive through Ground spike 1 and return through Ground spike 2. Massive current seen at return earth nothing at seen at Positive side.

Going back to OU. Have you experimented with the modern equivalent of Tesla's Radiant energy reciever? The one that uses 4 Germanium diodes and 4 cap's. That is a gauranteed working system. I did many test's a couple of years ago. The recieved voltage ebbed and flowed over a 24 hour period but there was always 2 volts of sufficient strength to drive an LED.

Forget the LED, you should be able to run a sports stadium off 1,100 Amps!
