The best shortcut of tests would be not to repeat the same mistakes (thinking inside the box) over and over again. If a test hadn't worked on page 515 then most likely it will not work on page 1515 or on page 2515.

One further question. Should the internal resonator (Choke) (Drossel) be resonating at the same frequency as that of L3's resonant frequency? At the moment it finds it's own frequency irrespective of that of the drive!!

Lenz law also applies to currents and magnetic fields formed by free circulating electrons.
The Faraday Homopolar generator and the Hall Effect work on the principle of deflecting electrons in solid matter by magnetic fields.

Maybe this question sounds so simple as it sounds odd, but: If a (relatively) thin wire is wound around a (relatively) thick wire (in a manner as depicted in the image below) and the thin wire is connected to earth and the thick wire carries a lot of amperes then could it perhaps be that a novel technical effect accrues? Thus this strange ribbon symbol?

The green colored part is a clearly understandable statement, it is a transformer with a shorted two windings secondary, the red colored part is still a red question mark.

So why does this »connecting conductive element« reminds me on the Hall effect and on the homopolar generator? Because these devices are also working on odd (and once novel) technical effects? Or is it because a homopolar generator generates a lot of amps but very little volts as with the conductive element forming a closed circuit? Or is it because the Hall effect works due to a magnetic field perpendicular to the current?

And why at all does Barbosa need this heavy black coated wire (two fingers thick, suitable for thousands of amps) when the thin green wire is obviously sufficient for connecting the device to the ground during the demonstration?

Someone has by chance a very thick wire at hand in order to do little experiments (outside the box)?

After all, I'm not sure anymore if high voltage is needed anyway. Because (already mentioned hundreds of pages ago) at 20:20 clearly TK's spark gap fails, most likely meaning the high voltage generator fails too (not oscillating), but the lamps are brightly lit nevertheless. Hence, no spark gap needed, no helical coil needed, no big coil needed, no transformer, diode bridge, filter capacitor needed, no transistors on heat sinks needed. This all is just mumbo-jumbo to fake people out. Thus it seems to me there is not much left of the TK device except a small room in the tin can just big enough for a novel »outside the box« effect.

Now I AM confused.  L2 and L3 are on the Yoke or in my case Ferite transformer core. Do you mean L5 and the internal choke?
