I tried to backtrack the reference but didn't make it very far to find the schematic that was referenced...

Observation after reading tesla colorado spring notes; The extra coil is driven by the secondary by capacitive link (electrostatic exchange), so it gets a already high voltage and has an induced current; this extra coil should be perpendicular to or very far from(which is additional leakage capacitance) its secondary so as to not interact with its magnetic field... while this resembles NMR there are other things that are perhaps intended

An effect I sought to remove   It's an inductor on the emitter so it floats dynamically; this causes a chirp (a ring pulse that is an increasing frequency)...


Is it a stepdown transformer?  So there's only low voltage applied to that kacher?
