@Hoppy, watch the vid again he does not leave the bulbs burning, he plugs the set of bulbs into mains socket after cutting up gen to show the bulbs are not a fake set, also shows top of broom stick.
Turning it around, if it was all fake then why not just quietly vanish, he cuts it up and sounds very frustrated and angry.

Thanks for picking me up on the lamps plugged into the mains to prove they were not a fake set. However, if it was genuine then I'm sure he would have completed his comprehensive 'show all' camera angles to include the obviously needed all-round close-up of the broom head with the lamps lit before he filmed the wrecking ceremony. He would then not have needed to wreck it up because it would then have been a lot more difficult to suss out how he probably did it and therefore reduce calls of 'fake'.
