So is this a split core transformer design? Looks like the additional winding is a capacitive one to the secondary? We will need a bit more info on the transformer windings and core modifications, if any. We will also need to know about the inductor core type and the voltage ratings for the capacitors. Otherwise easy enough to duplicate.

I was a little skeptical at first of akula's device, but now that I have seen weasley's translated videos along with akula's new ones.  I can say for a fact he knows what he's talking about.  Seeing how I am one of the only people who seems or cares to know how they work/ having built my own working one.  I am so glad that weasley translated those videos.  I was of the impression that I could not use a katcher SS circuit for the impulse generator.  I am on my way to having an exact TK replication.  Hopefully.

THANKS WEASLEY, Keep up the Good translations.  and I might add that your video making skills have gotten a lot better.  I never could understand what was being said in you early ones...  lol

I have spoken to /contacted  some people who have failed in their replications. Could you share your replication success with us please?
How many watts does it put out. Is it a self runner etc. Any information would be much appreciated, especially the construction of the coils.

  Did they stick to the basic guide lines I wrote on here?  Or are you talking about them replicating TK's device.   I had help with getting all the resonant specs in order. ie.. Having resonance with everything from the input energy to the secondary.  It took weeks to find the right combination of wire and capacitor.  I weighed out the wire for the discharge circuit and the primary and made it weigh the same as the secondary.  Then I over cut the secondary and snipped little pieces of it down till I got the high output I was looking for.  I used HV Diodes to make sure the input was Unidirectional and that there were no back rush currents or oscillations.   Even though I new I had the right DC Input and discharge circuit, I had to adjust the speed of the impulse frequency manually to find the right impulse frequency when I put a string of bulbs on the secondary because I don't have it set up for automatic resonance.  I used a few 9 volt batteries running my input device.  It was something off of an old electric bug zapper or something of that effect.  I had it for a long time.  I am still trying to use a capacitor discharge ignition(CDI) to replace my discharge circuit.  But I havent found one that is to my needs.  I bought a few off ebay for motorcycles and mopeds.  Something about thyristors that others have used in their real working ones like the russian guy uses.  Those large steal mill thyristors are what I need.  I will get around to making a step by step process, but I need to make one myself that can run without problems before hand, thats why I am looking into CDI's and the like that make disruptive capacitor discharges.  I use a mechanical switching device for the make and breaks, but it isn't very reliable.   It runs and works great when it doesn't mess up the switching.  I can say that when it hits a good switch closure and I turn it off, that the lights stay on for about 7 seconds or so afterwords.  It can't run CPU's and chip run electronics because it is an EMP generating device.  Thats why you can't use meters very well with them.  You get jumps from the readings and can't be relied on.  So I can't help you with output measurements.  But It is cold electricity, just like lightning.  I have seen one video on youtube that showed a HV DC Tesla Coil that output Radiant energy.  It had Red and Bright White sparks come from it when the discharges were blown out very abruptly.  Tinsel Koala or what ever his name is mad it.  Heres a link, but Tinsel is a nonbeliever.  I think that the Impulse duration or the impulse frequency can change the color of the sparks.

I wouldn't use a MOT for your input.  Whatever those Russian guys did when they show that coil and he uses a metal screwdriver to touch the copper or alum. pipe thats in the middle of the coil and sparks fly from the driver.  There seems to be a lot of reactive energy in that setup and the screw driver is being hit with those EMP WAVES and putting off a different sign than the pipe in the coil.  I read that one side of a coil can be more negative and the other more positive.  Thats why the screw driver has charge i guess.
