The effect you are seeing is what we call the Captret.

Warning: Utilizing the can on Capacitors as a separate plate causes the inside to cone and push the cap apart, Unless it is designed rigidly it will destroy the cap eventually. Solidly built cap will last much longer. This usually means the bigger the better. They actually make very heavy caps with a threaded bolt on the end cap. These type of caps can handle huge stresses and will fair better then rubber plug caps.

The one pin goes to the can and is supposed to be used for extra support for the cap. Most caps like this do not connect the extra lead to the can but it looks like you have one that does. Do a search for the word Captret and you will find IBpointless2 and my work on them.

Trying to build that schematic also (but had some delay due to some duties)...

Please tell me which schematic you used and why ? Because you posted modified schematic also with two transistors driving irf3205.
Standard electrolytic capacitors or require low ESR type ?
Did you modified transformer air gap ?
How you adjusted circuit after start ? (procedure description is needed)
Can you post better resolution video for download ?

As I said to a.king21 this is the very hot schematic, quite simple , everybody should  build it. Thruth is only one. Help us see her, before most of us loose hope ! That is all about with this schematic : HOPE

I see the main trick there is in how transformer is made.
Can you please provide much details as possible on its assembly?
The needed details are on winding directions, the size of air gap if required and type of core used.

did you know, i think the output power can be lifted by increasing the capacity of the output (and perhaps a slight increase in the number of turns of the secondary winding) for example: 2200uF=30W, 2x2200uF=60W, 3x2200uF=90W, 4x2200uF=120W
the scheme is suitable for a powering the laptop

on the video is shown second circuit (below), the capacitors are standard, the transformer also and the video is of low resolution
