A transformer, any transformer, cannot be an amplifier a priori, it is a converter and always has a percentage of losses. Volt addition is possible only in periods, or the combination of circuits on one load, where the current limiting system works in the set load. The source of volt addition can be any high voltage generator if its secondary is not directly shorted into the circuit, but through capacitive dividers. A ТТ or neon transformer for example, like Smith's. Thank you Fabon aka Bunk. You should of give this file at the very  first. It would make Stefan work much easier 
as you are on his own property( the forum) now  for free and he pays for it.
