I just ran into this low budget movie called Primer about two garage inventors going through the process of inventing something and the repercussions of what they do with it when they succeed. Enjoy.

seems interesting; but the simultaneous talking is really annoying.

It was 'ok' for what it was.....in the same 'micro-niche' as Michael Rappaport's movie: 'Special'.

We all have the choice to waste ourselves in rebellion or to gain wisdom.  Therefore, gain wisdom:

I liked how there were no cops, no black helicopters. Just very private and realistic issues with the inventors. They also started out with the clear intent of commercializing whatever they end up inventing but end up keeping it to themselves and getting into trouble without affecting anyone else. A very realistic scenario and one I've always thought possible. I also liked how when they first stumble upon it, they quickly get worried about unknown radiations and enclose it. How many times have we gone through the same paranoia? It all seemed very familiar.

One thing I haven't seen yet is where hordes of would-be replicators around the world get on the internet and use forums to share information to try to replicate the device using scant data.  ;D

Thanks for the other movies, TechStuf. I'll check two those out.
