Magnetic monopoles detected in a real magnet

I'm attaching a photo on how to create a magnetic monopole according to Lee Valstad on the peswiki link mentioned above.  He says it produces a true monopole field, one with two poles both of which are the same charge.  I haven't done much research on this, so I would like to hear your thoughts on the Valstad Coil.  Could it be possible to create a true monopole field using the Valstad Coil?

Apparently the Rodin coil can also produce monople permanent magnet. Very interesting!

what this coil is doing is not actually creating a monopole. but rather simulating one, by concentrically magnetizing the material, in such a way that the south pole is enclosed inside the north.

this creates a magnet with only one outwardly detectable "pole"
because its opposite pole is on the inside.

this can be done with spheres, to create an "all north" or "all south" sphere magnet.
