I likely misunderstood the nature of the thread, however, a motor can also generate.  The idea would be to have a more efficient motor / more efficient generator.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no motor anywhere that will do what you want. In fact, there is no motor anywhere that will even power a small LED without some external source of energy.

But, when it comes to the "best" motor, that would have to be mine:

I know there is none that will power without an external power source, but i already have solar power which i could use to power it, from what i can come across this is my picture of what i think IST motor is... im just wanting someone to confirm my thinkings....



This is what i understand now, that A-F are coils, 1 of these coils will pulse a current through... ex 12v@500mA.  The others wll collect.  now “  “m” is a Neo magnet with all same poles? and on the end of the rest of the coils there would be a Neo with opisite poles? To repell the “m”? Or does is there one collecting colil? while the others are there just to repell?


Does a design like this output more then input?
