Here's a short writeup which summarizes the problem. As was seen from the numerical example there's a difference in calculating the power (respectively energy) when doing it in a more detailed manner compared to simply applying integration. Assuming measurement artifacts is ludicrous. Where's your experimental proof for such assumption? Where's your analysis of the theoretical argument presented?
