Just thinking.. who owns the History Channel.. seems like a lot of their videos would be ones the government wouldn't want aired.  I'll have to Google later.

Edit: The channel is owned by A&E joint venture (Hearst, Disney, NBC).. interesting that it is part of one of the major government controlled networks.. They must overlook the "cable" channels?  Also it is International.. that may help some of the programing from being blocked.

Whatever the reason, I see a lot of good stuff on the History Channel.  Also have you heard of TruTV.. looks like it may be a good source?

The mountain ranges in middle north america are said to be the best place on that continent.

As I live pretty much smack dab in the middle, I guess your definition of 'middle' is a bit greater in scope than mine.  We've got the Rockies to the west in Colorado and the Ozark moundains in Missouri, but here in the 'middle' middle, it's currently mud flats as far as the eye can see.

I have a theory.. The major news comes from the AP, which is probably how the government controls the news.. since the History Channel doesn't use AP.. good stuff slips in.
