The open sourcing of this particular project was intended to be NOT FOR PROFIT, this guy has never had any involvement with the creators of it and has simply stolen the idea ....

Ramset, I think he was just being diplomatic as he is not full versed in this argument and I do understand where he was coming from BUT being that TT has NEVER had anything to do with this forum, nor has he ever had any involvement with Slayer (gbluer) himself then he is just a common thief and nothing less, he crept up behind everyone and just took to make him self some coin ... going to be a very sad day when someone does come up with a device that could change the world and no one is willing to back them because of this incident. It  needs to be made clear to the public that this man has never  before  had any involvement with people like us, We do not know him and do not back him, he is a nobody who is just riding the gravy train for a quick buck!

If you live near high voltage power lines ,grab a florescent tube just as the kickstarter representative does in his "How to" video , go out under the high voltage power lines and you will get the same effect .

What feature of the circuit is representative of
anything that is truly unique that hasn't been
"borrowed" from earlier efforts?

How, absent a Legal Contract or Agreement, can
this condition be imposed?

There seems to be a great deal of misunderstanding
about the legal impact of "intentions" or "conditions"
and how they are to be conveyed.

We can desire or intend nearly anything.  But how can
we make our desires or intentions binding?  There is
a legal process.  Unless we consummate that process
we are without legs to stand on.

The simple fact that Gbluer posted these designs for this circuit to be used in this manner before anyone else is fact enough to be binding, like it or not, if you've read all my post thoroughly, if would be apparent to you that I would be correct, he posted it first it's his, same as in the old days where (and still is) if you mail a design to your self with the postal service, do not open the mail once you receive it, if someone whom knew of your idea then goes to patent it you have proof with a date stamp showing when YOU came up with the idea.


sadly I think your on the wrong side of this argument, and it is very very sad to see forum members of any forum attacking their own, you obviously would be a person like TT willing to "steal" ideas from people, and the very reason why we are going to see a sharp decline of "sharing " on forums like this one .... just because it was not a contract written up by a lawyer does not in any way prove T to be in the right ....

Kickstart is meant to inspire,to help the artist or Creator get his chance ,to get that "dream come true" moment out into the world.
Yes they may encourage the Hacker community in a battle against what they perceive
the little guy Vrs  big guy.


However
There is one thing you can take to the bank,they will Never knowingly Get behind
one little guy stealing an open source and Altruistic artists work and "Brand" recognition and posting it as his own.


Its just not what they Do!


The ball is in this community's court,The evidence has been all over the internet for "YEARS"

Or Will you sit back and let people unknowingly subsidize this type of behavior?
