Arduous Continuous Left-Right Scrolling

I've certainly noticed tons of odd stuff lately,
but I posted this one due to it making the forum unusable.

Here is another example of odd behaviour.

I'll post the recent topics list first,
then what appears to be a database hick-up.

Two identical threads except for line spacing,
and additional path on the URL.

Like it was an edit gone wrong somehow.

Sure hope Stefan isn't loosing the database !

I tried 800x600 first,
but reduced to 640x480.

The originals are of course 1024x768.

Very odd ...

Has anyone found a solution?

There are no pics on this example,
the word wrap is not doing It's job.

And now there is a wide space
between the names and the text.

At 1024x768, it is still five pages wide!

After I scroll down past the text of this post
I have to hit "Page down" 19 times
to get past the blank space.

I'll spare everyone 19 empty pics.

I'm using the newest FireFox
per Stefan's suggestion.

Micro$haft's Internet Destroyer does this too...
