Its not so much the sets that are important, IMHO, it is recognizing fractally iterative systems in nature.  The film Pi was right... mathematics IS the language of nature.  What would you like to know?  I will do my best to accomodate, but I am far from the authority on the subject... there are entire forums devoted to the subject... I'm sure we could recruit one of their potentates to assist, however.

organized religion aside..
there are things in the bible, that originated from ancient egyptian writings
which may be very relevant here.

their description of electricity, magnetism, and energy in general was almost identicle to the descriptions used by Ed Leedskalnin.

remnants of this have survived even today in the Holy Babble.

I concur... we have lost quite a bit of info through the years, and more has been hidden.  The end of that last ice age really kicked our asses.

If you do a some mathmaticall speculation as to how many times mankind in the last million years or so was able to come to a point in his technological advancement (the smart monkeys ability to create tools of various forms) where his tools had the potential to master nature itself to create energy from matter and matter from the created energy using the last three hundred years as a constant in the acceleration of mankinds technology the probablity of ancient civilizations pocessing hightech tools is almost a surety.  What they did with this technology is most probably to destroy each other in some stupid religious wars.  In the beginning all was void.  Everything was in the form of dark matter.  Then God made light.  Obviously this God dude was a dark matter elitist who went off and created his own Universe and pisssed off the darkmatter power structure.  The forces of light and dark battling ever since.

Alfred M. Hubbard's coil design has always interested me.
He powered an electrical motor to run a boat with it.


"he selected to put 8 cylinder coils around his central coil.
Starting from the center of each of these 8, if you draw a line
to the center of the coil, you have a distance that can be derived
by dividing the circle up into 8 equal angles - 45 degrees.
Then using algebra, you can find the inner core diameter
relative to those outer coil diameters.
