Hi.

Plastic is a great material to use with magnets. 3D-printers, that do build plastic parts, are usually very exspensive. But hobby printers and kits are producing acceptable print (I think). I found them from between 800 to 3000 USD.

I think I go for this on: http://fdp.nu/pp3dp
Mill CNC mill was a kit but very, very much work had to be done. So this time is must be a complete product.

Keep in mind: this is not an ad, I just want to let you know what I found.

Regards, Eric

What bothers me are the discussions if the company pp3dp really exists or not. When reading the forum on their site, one becomes a bit confused. Send 1500 USD by wire is not something I would like to do.

It might pay to contact the Professor of Mechanical Engineering at your nearest university. They may have one (if they
exist) or at least, they will have looked into them.

It is bizarre tthat their web site does not give an address for the company. Also, there is no company
called PP3DP listed either in the UK or the States.
