Explain to us why free energy is a bad idea

This is an open invitation to all the lurkers who feel that “Free Energy” is a bad idea.
All you folks who work for those who would be adversely affected by free energy are encouraged to share your opinions here. If you’re with the NSA or the MI6, or any of the other alphabet agencies, you can explain to us just why it is that free energy is a national security threat.
I am genuinely curious why I should continue to pay exorbitant prices for fuels which degrade our environment, cause wars and are completely unnecessary? I’m even more curious why someone would support and perpetuate such a stupid plan. Are you guys just in it for the money?
I don’t expect that any spies could actually grow back a pair and speak up like men, but you never know (they may have been men before the almighty dollar castrated them).
Anyway, here’s your chance…

ok, i'll take a stab here...

anything free that seeks to make easier the work and hardships directly assigned to us by THE One, should probably be questioned. #1 energy sources based on physical labor  supported by agriculture. Human mechanical labor probably the most efficient. Do the true math. Why has agriculture been stolen from us? Why have we been presented with one 'make it easy' thing after another. Are we any better off? NOPE. There is a big conspiracy at play here and it isn't about the suppression of supposed energy systems. It is the rebols against the One. Guess what? The rebols lose.

Free energy is not a bad idea.  Free energy in the hands of rebellious cosmic infants....not so good.   So, we have self elected 'stewards' of the masses, of nuclear power, 'free' energy, etc. who, themselves are kept from certain advances by the Real Stewards of the Cosmos. Soon enough there will be a New Heavens and a New Earth.  Free energy abounds in the Perfect Kingdom of Yahweh.

This really isn't a biblical issue. I appreciate that you guys see the world through your faith, but I was hoping for a more worldly explanation by the thugs who enforce this insanity.
Free energy isn't about giving dangerous weapons to the unwashed masses. It's about being able to power your house and drive your car without paying someone else huge amounts of money to do so. It's about being energy independent without screwing up our environment in the process.
I'm also sick and tired of being a fossil fuel slave.
