Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

I see a couple of problems, first it must take a lot of energy to melt & boil off the plastic.  Second, this is not a new idea - I'm sure it was posted on this forum, 1-2 years ago about some american start-up that had a proven process of converting garbage of every kind from landfills to hydrocarbon-based fuel.  Whatever happened to them???

Come to think of it, someone should start a thread titled "Whatever happened to..." to highlight the number of seemingly revolutionary ideas that seemed sure-fire winners but were never heard of again...

i read it somewhere and it seemed valid

if it took 2$ to heat absolutly no one would
use it

also this guy is japanese
sounds as though hes the inventor

In the Polymer Synthesis Lab where I work we manufacture many Resins at high temperatures and under pressure. We avoid going above 445°F (229°C) because the polymers begin to de-polymerize as well as polymerize. My guess is that this is simply what he is doing. He is heating the material above 450°F (232°F) and cracking the polymers, this unit then distills the product into the water-containing collection reservoir.

This is not complicated at all. You just need a reactor that is sealed and has a distillation tube at the top. Since our petroleum products are made from oil in the same way you should, overall, get more energy out from the distillates than is required to run the process.

This looks like a very simple way to recycle our waste plastics.
Research is the only place in a company where you can continually have failures and still keep your job.

I knew immediately that was where I belonged.
