Mark,

That's the main problem.  Power To Be gave us many details but also left out some very important details such as specific components to use in our Pierce Circuit and Joule Thief Circuit.  This circuit is the main thing holding me back from providing a prototype for this group to see and improve on.  I need help with the circuit.  If I know the specific components to buy, I can build this circuit quickly.  I also need to know where to hook in the JT to the Pierce Circuit.

I am in the process of getting some outside experts involved right now but might not be that willing to share my results with members of this forum if others don't step up soon and get involved.  Outside experts want money or they don't want you to waste their time.

So, what is your expertise?

I am the author of all the Power To Be archived files.  There are many of them.

Slovenia

Slovenia,

I will give you some help. First tell me exactly what you want to do? I have been building Joule Thief circuits for years if you don't believe me please check the Joule Thief thread on here. I am very well versed in electronics an have a degree from the University. So what would you like to know.

Hi Altrez,

Great to hear from you!!  Thanks for your willingness to help.  Thanks also for the hints you gave in the past.

Right now I'm just wanting information on how to properly set up and assemble the pierce circuit and joule thief circuit.  I have studied the two circuits but my expertise is not in electronics and I am at a loss from the standpoint of which specific subcomponents to purchase for both these circuits.  There are a wide range of choices for many of these subcomponents and I wanted to make sure that I didn't order the wrong parts.  Any suggestion on proper subcomponents and setup of the two circuits would be very helpful.  I'm planning on using the 45 Khz transducers and need to be able to adjust them to somewhere at or about 43 Khz and also I want my voltage increased from 12 vdc to 36 vdc.

Anyway, I appreciate your willingness to share with me.

Best Regards,
Slovenia

Hey Altrez,

Could you answer some of my questions from my last post?  I have an electrical engineer friend but he doesn't have at the time in the world right now.  He is working on the RF project from energetic as he has time.  I have two books complete wireless design and practical electronics for inventors that I am using for reference.  There some formulas and some schematics in there I could post a picture of the schematic and you see what you think if you wanna take a look.  I am not sure if the components they list are thee components to use or not.
Appreciate it,
Chris

Solvenia,

If you really want me to buy those transducers I will but maybe we should get more of a clue to what the other circuits consist of before spending the money what do you think?
