Good to hear from you.  It sounds like you are having a lot of fun.  With regard to the zinc crystals, I do believe that they need to be contained in some sort of envelope as initially suggested by Power To Be.  He did mention that he had utilized a way of adhering them to some surfaces but he was not explicit in how he accomplished it.  I do know that the zinc crystals have to be under water to work most effectively.  I've seen that in Power To Be posts several times.  Initially I thought we were supposed to coat the receiver bowl at the top of the cell and then decided the brass receiver bowl was to direct the signal back down into the water for optimum results.

Thanks for the suggestion about the fogger.

Use your fogger first to vaporize the water then have your second transducer catch the vapor and turn it to its elemental hydrogen and oxygen.  This is the two stage idea I was talking about.

Do you think it possible to mix zinc in paint or primer and spread it onto a material (substrate)? 

I am trying to concentrate my efforts on the cdi at this point.  We are getting RF from using resistorless copper wires and ghost firing.  So we are going to try fine wire braid on the plug wires and ground it to the engine block for shielding and try a tvs diode on the trigger.

Power To Be never got around to sharing this aspect with us.  I think he was waiting for all of us to get the water cell  with the zinc crystals and transducers running before he gave us the secrets associated with PbSO2 and how to apply them.  I think our brother Power To Be is gone now, so many of his secrets may remain lost to us unless we can learn how to activate the inner genius in all of us, that he talked about.

I got back in contact with the company that manufactured my 40 KHz transducer.  I specifically asked them about the transducer in regards to it's contact with water and they told me that under no circumstances was any part of their transducer to come into contact with water.  They said the transducer needed to be mounted to a stainless steel panel at the base of the water cell on the outside of the water.

For full effect of the transducer, I was really wanting to place the ceramic piezo directly into contact with the water at the bottom of my cell.

This is evidently why Power To Be designed his own horn housing for his ceramic piezos and mounted them a certain way.  It's just another hurdle to cross but we can do it.

I had a serious setback.  My oscilloscope shot craps on me and I can't afford to have it serviced at this time.  The fuse did not blow and the on light still lights up when the machine is turned on.  Also, you can hear a slight hum of the transformer inside the unit.  There is no longer the presence of a trace on the CRT screen.  You can see lights inside the screen if you fully illuminate the trace switch, but the CRT screen no longer operates.  So, I don't know what went south with my machine and am still trying to ascertain that.  I've been reviewing a lot of oscilloscope troubleshooting manuals but so far to no avail.  Anyway, I wanted to let you know I was still alive and still interested in this project.

Power To Be left so many interesting tangents to look into that I've been having a hard time just focusing on the project at hand.  I want it all and he opened my eyes to many things but the research takes a lot of time and I still haven't figured out how to tap the higher self to the degree I'd like to.  My knowledge is gaining in that area but I'm still not there yet.
