I've been reading through these forums and i find these theories absolutely fascinating and was wondering where would be a good place to start to begin learning about all of this?

Any good books or websites that can start with the basics? I have a very fundamental understanding of electricity and mechanics.
Any ideas on what type of educational routes to take?

Any ideas would be appreciated and keep up the good work

If I was you, I would start with the joule theif because it is best to know how to properly utilize what we have rather then looking for new to be used and wasted as it is now.
Another option would be to look through the different topics of all the forums and pick one and or several that intrest you the most. If you really dont know what you are and or will be interested in, tell us why you are here and what you are looking for and maybe we can help guide you in the right direction.

Well i was looking more into the idea of where to start learning about the electrical processes.

Im 21 and as i said i have a very fundamental knowledge of electricity and physics from what i picked up in highschool.

I was wondering what time of educational path would be suited for this type of study and what type of extra curricular reading would also be beneficial so that i may be able to one day accumulate the knowledge to attempt to tackle some of these projects

If you are seeking some education that would help. I believe basic electronic circuitry would be what you need to know about the most.

As I said, you must first now what it is you want out of this. Why are you here?

You said you have a very fundamental knowledge of electricity. I would think that the most fundamental thing to know about electricity is what electricity really is. With that said, tell me what electricity is?

I would like to be able to understand all of this well enough to be able to try to design and build my own over unity device as well as be able to refine it.

If i remember correctly, i thought electricity was the process in which electrons are gained or lost from atom to atom which creates a current
