Quite simply because those 'motors' are fakes. This guy posts simular videos at a regular intervals.

A real magnet motor should start by itself and probably should also constantly accelerate - just as Tom said - to blinding speed.


Anyway, I think I found some sort of configuration that would very well resemble Tom's clues (I think in all aspects). Very, very simple design. If it was that simple I don't think it would be patentable. You cannot patent a concept, idea but only a device. So if you saw only one working device using this concept, you would build a different one by yourself. I desgined two of such devices in 5 minutes time ;] Completely different but using the same principle. Two patents would be granted I think. But... things are always beautiful on the paper - must build one and test first... and probably fail as usually <lol>

the set's his on machinist blocks and shows everytbing, just wonder if there is air near ny.
one thing I've wonderec if might work is using lead shields to control when repulsion happens.
