Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Maybe there are designs like this but I think using a flywheel and a pulsed rotor is a good combination for a motor which may reach OU.
The flywheel provides an inertial component that keeps the rotor moving.  The rotor can be pulsed to give it a kick so it continues to rotate.  The kick may come from stored-up charge from a capacitor where all its energy is released in the coil for a ms.  Perhaps the best way to do this is to use a uprocessor for control.  Not too difficult with a basic stamp or PIC.  Now to reduce or eliminate Back EMF.  This is always the problem with electric motors and the main limiting factor in reaching OU.

Anyone experimented with this or know of someone who has or is experimenting in this?

Valveman, and where should the power come to overcome
frictional losses and the power to chargeup the capacitor ?
Will not work...

Valveman, Wouldn't it be easier to pulse the stators?

Stefan, Where does the energy come from to overcome frictional losses on ANY OU device? By defenition it shouldn't be possible so when anything is OU the energy that overcomes those forces does not come from the system in question. Second law arguments are moot when talking about OU devices, since the basic goal is to circumvent the second law anyway.

Valveman I know of someone who is working on a device similar in principal to the Kundel motor, except instead of using a voice coil to oscillate a permanent magnet, he's pulsing an EM stator to get rotation. Still awaiting Ein and Eout figures.

I created this topic to see what people had for ideas.  Reviewing some designs, I noticed the Grey Motor works similar to this.  I look forward to hearing more comments.

Hey Valveman,
probably you think about the use of the LEVER-effect,
something like publicated in the Prof. Evert-pages,
-Motor-Flywheel-Generator- I remind it has been from an US-citizen
Don Martin his name,
or -the same idea-as patent office publication "Mularoni,EP0084761"!

Sincerely
