Cold Fusion Conference in Viareggio July 23, 2011

A conference was held on July 23, 2011 in Viareggio Italy. It was titled "Has cold fusion become a reality?" It was hosted by Delta Energy http://www.deltaenergie.it/news/48/15/Successo-Evento-su-Fusione-Fredda

16.13 â€" Rossi is contacted on Skype, he confirms delivery of the 1MW plant according schedule. The first industrial plant will be delivered “patent pending”, hoping that this will push the European patent application.
Domestic reactors will have to wait a couple of years due to certifications.

16.57 â€" Focardi in his pre-recorded interview states again that he does not know the Nuclear process that brings an atom of nickel to capture a proton and transform it into Copper, but the chemical analysis prove that this is what happens.

17.03 â€" The temperature when the reaction starts is 60-70° C.

17.05 â€" Focardi states that many samples of reactors has been tested, including closed circuit reactors.

17.56 â€" Celani states that he is researching on nanoparticles deposited on thin and long strings of Pd, in Deuterium atmosphere.
He states he is getting 400/W/g at 500°C with good reproducibility.
He has worked also with Ni strings in Hydrogen atmosphere and he is getting an efficiency of 1800W/g at 900°C, but with difficulties in reproducibility.

18.26 â€" Roy Virgilio takes the word. He states that Piantelli research is going good. A new company (NickEnergia) has been formed 5 month ago and is already licensing his know how to other industries to produce reactors of different sizes. [The name of the company appears to be Nichenergy. â€"Ivy Matt]

18.35 â€" Piantelli is not willing to to make any type of publicity. He will arrive on the market with a commercial product and let the market decide if the technology is real or not.

18.37 â€" Piantelli is not using catalyzers, just Nickel and Hydrogen.

18.39 â€" The first reactors that will be offered for sale will be on the range of the Kw. After they will scale up.

19.10 â€" Among the public Milly Moratti takes the word and states that there are clearly now experimental evidences of Cold Fusion.

It is important that Rossi isn't the only player in the nickel hydrogen energy field. Competition is vital so no one can become a monopoly. A monopoly charges what it wants because it is the only source of a product or service. That is not good for anybody except the monopoly. Competition drives down prices.

Piantelli has filed several patents of his own on energy production from nickel containing devices. Piantelli doesn't claim to use a catalyst in his devices like Rossi does.

Also, it was revealed that several of Piantelli's original devices, following a little repair, still function. Piantelli's devices also shift over to where they operate without the addition of outside power.

What i see from above writings, that they and not only they, as well this Pix which don^t shows any useful dates, don^t really know, that CNF is only such type of reaction in which fuel is not wasted. And this is possible only with light elements, also water. When this above was dynamic atomic reaction as in german engines from war airplanes, without heavy cover it is not possible to live after presentation of such device. So please stop dreaming about.

As I wrote many times here: Piantelli is the "father" of Ni-H reaction. It is very good he finally took action. Because Rossi stole his invention.
Where was Rossi when Piantelli was doing his research and wrote articles about anomalous Ni-H reaction? Rossi was herding sheeps at that time.
Rossi is only clever bussinesman, he took poor Foccardi ( Foccardi was working with Piantelli) to help him construct working cell.The only difference from Piantelli cell is that Rossi is using Ni powders rather than solid Ni rods- he was focused on maximising thermal effect, the principle and reaction is still Piantelli's invention.Reaction area is much bigger with powder, so thermal output is biger also.
In Piantelli cell there is no need for any "catalyst"- because secret lies in Nickel surface preparation.Nickel need to be purified from any dissolved gases ( heating in vacuum) and metal surface should consist of "porous" structure of Ni atom clusters.
