Hi Everyone,

Ultrasonic Atomisers will allow creation of a fine water vapor in the range 0 - 10 microns, similar to steam. This is an option for venturi injection into a Plasma Injector by piggy backing one of the other pressurised gas flows in the priming cycle.

Atomisation is important because a very small particle size means less bonds to break to release the stored energy.

A schematic of the Detonation Plasma Spray Process which is the principle that the Plasma Injector is based upon. The function is further improved by the De Laval shaped insert. The powder addition will no longer be required. The Nitrogen purge may work very well as part of the priming cycle. Fairly simple to adapt this known technology to Plasma Injector designs. Note the water cooled barrel which is already incorporated into PRotoMax designs via mounting within the water sump of the system and so both injector and rotor are permanently submerged.

Hi Everyone,

Air may not itself be pure enough to provide the Nitrogen we need without some contamination that would foul the Injector and Rotor. It will be possible to incorporate a fractional distillation process to separate the air into its different gases using known technologies.
