Hey all...just wondering if the SMOT, or TOMI effects can be used to build a very long magnetic ramp...I'm talking in the order of a couple of meters long, and a meter or so long.... any idea if this can be done? Or is the effect limited to short distances?

Another question - has anyone ever toyed with the idea of a magnetic helix as a type of magnetic gate? I think it may have some merit...but then my mind works in odd ways :P
