Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

That is exactly what I am moving to.  The string brake is nice but a torque arm this will give me torque directly vice through equations and calculations.

@travin: do you have an oscilloscope and function generator? If you do you can determine the inductance of the coils using a known capacitor, making a tank circuit and then determining its resonant freq by scoping the tank, sweeping the FG and looking for peak voltage.
It would be interesting to see what the drivetrain pulses look like anyway.

Nice thinking here.  I look forward to see what future developments reveal.  Best of luck to you.

I don't own an O-scope.  The pulses (as I envision them) look like a square wave with ramps up and down due to the timing wheel and "shadow" effects of the IR diode and phototransitor.

After some extra tweaking today, I again got more power out of the motor.  I am up to 1.5J out with the same input power of 9.5 watts.  This will be my last measurement using the string prony brake.  Made a new 1' torque arm, clamp, and purchased a digital scale to get an actual measurement of torque.  Combined with RPM, it should be much easier to get a wattage value.
