It seems he didn't mention if he was also using a capacitor...

Those that know more about Hendershot and his generator(s), please give us a clue, as to what that inner coils purpose may be for.

Hi NickZ. As I understand it, the Hendershot generator did not have an inner coil. It had two large multi-coil assemblies however.
These two main coil assemblies were made identical, and consisted of a large 5 inch diameter
metal cylinder with a home made foil cylindrical capacitor wound around the metal cylinder with
paper used as the insulating material. This home made cylindrical capacitor assembly fit inside the
main coils, which consisted of three main coils (L1 to L3) and one secondary coil (L4). The secondary coil
L4 was connected in parallel to the inner home made cylindrical capacitor assembly.

Let's hope you are right and we really are looking at the real McCoy  This could easily be cleared up by seeing a shot of the chair without the demo board.

Hi Hoppy. It might be fake, there is no way to tell for sure.
It wouldn't be hard to hide a smaller sized gel cell in that big coil form tube, for example.
Of course that doesn't mean that this is necessarily what was done however.

     Well, that is all very interesting, thanks for the info. Considering that all of these last devices are using bigger capacity AC run or start caps it may not be surprising then. Akula uses two big ones, and this last video is using only one that he connects from the inner coil right to the cap, as well as another electrolytic cap on the rectifier.
  Both devices are self runners, and possibly Romanov's is also, but, he may not want to spill the beans about it, yet.
  This is getting exciting... no wonder Cepren is raving about free people, and free energy, as this may not be a small matter.

    The aluminum tube may be the reason that only a single bulb is being lit, instead of three as in the akula device. It might be the economy version... as copper is expensive.
What do you say Hoppy. There may be more copper windings on the inside coil of akulas device, also.
    All in all, I'm impressed when the battery is disconnected or removed, and is just used to kick-start it, and for possible added stability of the components, along with the ground.
   Ok, I'm ready for the cigar...  and the vodka... now.  It's happy hour,  somewhere.
