You mentioned in your video that one of the push-pull transistors was getting hot, whilst the other one was running cold. This is exactly the condition that I had when the 'effect' was evident. The HV is having the effect of shutting down one side of the PWM and you will be able to disconnect one transistor and just run on one side - Tesla's unipolar pulse generator supplying the Kacher? Get yourself some measuring kit, like a DC clamp meter or scope and you will then see what's going on. As you have realised, keep that diode on your PSU to prevent smoke due to HV on the power rail. The PSU is working very hard by supplying a heavy pulsed current whilst the Kacher is running.

Are you sure you dont have a fault or one of the coils out of phase ?

   Here's another video that I made a while back, but, it was also set to private, and I've changed it to public as well.
It was made when I was using the 12v yoke, and 12v battery instead of the 24v power supply.  There's some interesting effects, there, as well.

Are you sure you dont have a fault or one of the coils out of phase ?

I had almost the same effect as URFA showed in his videos, so its possible that we both had a fault but I'm fairly sure that I did not.
