Exactly - it doesn't mean much. My measurements told me a lot more, which is why I have put down the project for the time being at least, as I'm not prepared to spend more valuable time with a device that myself and nobody else to date, has seen even a glimpse of anything that appears to be special that cannot be explained in conventional terms.

Hello Jeg.

Here was my solution to measure " true " device output.  It cost very little to make and was also easy to calibrate using a wattmeter. I used a 60 W 240 lamp contained within a candy tin. The PV cell was from a Pound/Dollar store garden light. In fact the most expensive part was the micro ammeter at £5.00. I calibrated the meter using a small potentiometer in series with the PV cell.

Does a purely resistive load connected to the secondary winding have a symmetrical bipolar AC induced across it ...or unipolar pulses?
You can make this test with decreased drain voltage to protect your components from damage.

MOSFET driver replaced, RC snubber reinstalled, so the massive ringing is gone, some spikes left (no TVS).

When connecting ONLY some 100 Ohm resistors at where the 2 primaries should be, i have the expected square wave signal which follows the
gates opening and closing of the drain like it should be.


When connecting the 2 primaries again, and terminating the both secondaries with resistors (3 turn with 100 Ohm and 28 turn with 6K)
i have again the problem that the gates are not opening their drains in time, and lowering the duty cycle pot of the TL494 has no influence on the time the
MOSFETs are active.

Below screenshot is of across the 100 Ohm resistor on the 3 turn secondary, so we have a symmetrical bipolar AC induced across it.
24V on the primaries.
