Which circuit diagram are you using? The choke is definetaly not making much more voltage than coil with aluminum slit sheet.. If you make choke with at least 4 times more wire length, it will be different case. Also choke winding should be opposite if you follow Tesla receiver coil rules.

  Ok, I'll make an opposite wound choke coil, with 43 turns times 4  (172 turns, of 1.5" wide core?).
I had tried an at least 250 turn air coil as the choke, which I had also shown (of 28 gauge mag wire) in a previous picture, but I also need to know the cap value for the choke coil.
  I've been using the hand drawn Akula diagram, to go on.

akula did not made any circuits diagrams and "his" circuits diagrams in this thread are wrong. Please be patient for more correct circuit not of his origin for the sake of getting effect on your table.

  That was what I had suspected, concerning the akula diagram.  As it did not show the same exact build as in the video. I was more guided by the video, but even his previous video, or his latest one,  may not be showing all there is to know, in order to precisely replicate the true working device.
  You can be assured that I will be patient, and that I will await for further instructions.
