For those who are still doing replication, I just got from Sergey good important details for the future testing:

1) The Tesla coil secondary is made from aluminum enameled wire (!). That is due different electron speeds on different metal.- claimed by Sergey
2) The foil or additional winding inside of grenade is also made from aluminum.
3) When tuning and looking for sync effect, (TODO: verify) the relationship between Tesla and push-pull is on odd harmonic, not even. And the standing wave is created inside of grenade.
4) The voltage on the Tesla coil and inductor is variable. They have to be tuned to the range of greatest sync effect (like Geo had with copper windings).

More details possibly will follow later after testing.

No need to go to great expense..... Most modern Microwave oven transformers use Aluminium enamelled wire for the primary, just do a reclaim!

For those who have a Lathe with Screw cutting facilities the bare Aluminium could be laid directly onto the former using the correct pitch to leave a suitable gap between turns.
