You could get around the output phasing problem by using a couple of chip mosfet drivers, with one as an inverting type and the other non-inverting.

Dear Verpies.

Please could you tell me what the theoretical capacitance would be made from the following material dimentions?

Aluminium sheet X 2 @ 330mm by 290mm.

Polythene dilectric @ 0.085 thick. Formed into a cylinder of 95mm Dia.

I fear I am a little short on capacitance @ 2.8nF. I think this is due to the fact that I can't seem to form a perfect contact area.

   Are you trying to make your own capacitors for use on the Akula device?  Did you ever buy the inductance cooker that you had mentioned previosly.

   I trying to make a Leyden Jar type for my device, but did not have much luck with it, although I've done it with the joule thiefs circuits and it worked fine there. 
I understand that the capacitance can also be varied on them, also, by the amount of water levels used, etz...

Yes I am on the "final straight", just a few more components, I hope will arrive tomorrow.  These are to protect the pair of very expensive IGBT's!!!

As you may be aware this device is based on the Hendershot generator (well in some aspects) and needs a capacitive liner to the coil tube. This capacitve lining is in parallel with the resonator choke that sits within.

T-1000 has been a great help with the ongoing construction and has given me a much greater understanding of theory of operation. If you study all the schematics that have come and gone they mostly share one common theme. A pair of coils that create a "Standing wave" or waves within. Which if I have understood correctly? produce a magnetic field at 90 deg. Now if you get the frequency right a ferrite cored choke will go into an NMR responce. And a theoretical BINGO :)

And yes I did buy an Induction cooker hob. But unfortunately it has some sort of detection circuit and does not see my coil placed upon it. So it just pulses and then locks out. Never mind I suppose I can use it to cook on :) :)
