That right side is pretty much what Don Smith has as the secondary L2 circuit. Please replace Don Smith with "Dally" in your mind, if "Don Smith" is  not allowed on this thread.

Don Smith might have used that concept but RCA and various other better quality radios used that circuit in there radios. It has a special quality that's very useful in band changing with a VFO input.

   Itsu:   I am having a hard time finding some of the components for the interuptor circuit.   The main one that is not available is are the Schmitt Triggers, which even Mouser Costa Rica does not carry.
Nor can my local supplier get them either.   Have you been able to find a supplier for all those Kacher components? Especially the Schmitt Triggers.

Maybe you are asking for the wrong thing. I find it very hard to believe that you can't get 74xx04 or 74xx14 chips in Costa Rica.

Each chip contains 6 Schmitt Trigger Inverter gates. You can use one (or any odd number in series) of the gates if you want an inverted Schmitt Trigger, or two (or any even number) of gates in series if you want non-inverted signals.

You can probably use either the 74xxxx logic family or the 40xx family. More choices:

Just build your kacher interupter and get it working,...  after that you will see which part is relevant.

Apecore, could you please recommend a specific Kacher schematic to use?
